Breakfast at Silver Forest, then a round at Erinvale — Ernie Els’ home club, with the Hottentots-Holland mountains as your backdrop. Evening at leisure.
Round at Stellenbosch, South Africa’s oldest inland course. Wood-fired pizzas and drinks on the clubhouse terrace as the sun dips against the mountain backdrop.
Round at Devonvale, set on a working wine estate. Wine tasting and snacks after golf.
Check out of Silver Forest. Trip to Franschhoek for its curio and craft shops, followed by lunch in the valley. Transfer to Cape Town and check in to The Vineyard Hotel in Claremont.
Round at Metropolitan, the parkland gem within sight of Table Mountain. Evening dinner at Barristers pub in Newlands.
A rest day from golf. Trip into Cape Town to take Afternoon Tea at The Mount Nelson Hotel and walk through the Company’s Garden in spring bloom. Free afternoon to explore the V&A Waterfront or take the cable car up Table Mountain.
Round at Steenberg, the Constantia valley course laid out among 300-year-old wine estates.
Breakfast, then a final round at Royal Cape — the oldest golf club in South Africa. Farewell dinner and prize-giving on the terrace at The Vineyard Hotel.
Breakfast and check out. Transfer to Cape Town International — or extend your stay with a few nights in Hermanus or a luxury safari at Gondwana Game Reserve.
