ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE The Beachwood course is a hidden gem offering a superb challenge for golfers who enjoys links golf. The sixth and ninth fairways both have a dog-leg left to consider with the remainder of the fairways a straight layout. There are 41 bunkers around the greens, and 33 fairway bunkers waiting for wayward shots. Most fairways are lined with trees making for an interesting challenge. Four of the holes feature beautiful water hazards. Taken over by its neighbour Durban Country Club 30 years ago, the course is maintained with the same diligence and care.
