About Constance Belle Mare Plage
ABOUT THE HOTEL Resort-wide refurbishment completed March 2025. A new La Citronelle live-cooking pavilion, the Constance Spa in partnership with Sisley Paris, and Green Globe Platinum sustainability certification. Constance Belle Mare Plage opened in 1975 as ten self-catering bungalows. Today it is 278 rooms, suites and villas along two kilometres of the east coast's best beach.
Constance Belle Mare Plage is the grande dame of Mauritian golf. Two championship courses sit on the estate, both included in your stay, and the beach runs for two uninterrupted kilometres of white sand on the calm east coast.
Accommodation ranges from Prestige Rooms (all 104 rebuilt in the 2025 refurbishment) through Junior Suites and Deluxe Suites to private Pool Villas. Every room has a balcony or terrace. Ask us about the beachfront categories that open straight onto the sand.
Dining is the resort's quiet showpiece. Eight restaurants and eight bars, led by the Blue Penny Cellar and its 30,000-bottle vault, La Citronelle for the live-cooking breakfast, and La Spiaggia for Italian on the beach. The Constance Spa works with Sisley Paris; the signature Golden Harmony Ritual runs to two hours.
