ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE El Rompido has two excellent golf courses at the club. They are both less than 20 years old but have matured well. It's a great destination for small groups who want to concentrate on conquering the golf course and have some fun. Opened in June 2006, the North course is a monument to modern golf, intelligent and entertaining. Modern because it combines power with precision; intelligent because it makes you think about your strokes; and entertaining because its medium-sized greens will test both the most skilled player and those with higher handicaps. The South course is three years older. It runs alongside the clubhouse and is divided into two sections with very different characteristics, both in terms of technique and the landscape. The pine forest alternates with olive trees and wetlands, requiring golfers to use strategy and precision in their strokes. The spacious greens are known to be among the fastest in Andalucia.
