ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE Monte Rei is without doubt one of the best European golf courses you'll ever play. The Jack Nicklaus course opened in June 2007 and is already a firm favourite with those in the know. The course is set in the picturesque foothills of the Eastern Algarve, with sweeping views of the mountains to the north and Atlantic to the south.
